Your tasks:

Your profile:

• Completed apprenticeship, technical college degree or equivalent qualification in the field of garden and green space design - landscape gardening, driving licence B and F, very good knowledge of written and spoken German
• friendly demeanour, ability to work in a team, flexibility, independence
• autonomous, independent organisation of working hours according to the relevant work
• special independent sense of proportion when carrying out winter maintenance as well as support and control of the partly outsourced winter maintenance;

University Assistant (postdoc)

Your tasks:

• Independent research activities in the field of exercise and environmental physiology; participation in research proposals, publications
• Independent teaching of courses in the field of exercise and environmental physiology as part of the sports science degree programmes at the ISW. Research-led teaching in the Department of Sport Science, including preparation, follow-up and examination activities
• Supervision of students incl. supervision of bachelor theses
• Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks; organisation of scientific events
• Continuing education; participation in conferences and congresses; further training

Your profile

• Completed relevant doctoral or PhD studies (sports science, physiology, exercise science, sports rehabilitation/cardiology or related fields)
• Experience in the assessment of cerebral blood flow using ultrasound and/or magnetic resonance imaging with a focus on environmental physiology
• Research experience in environmental physiology with an interest in the effects of climate extremes and climate shifts
• Experience in university teaching as well as in organisational and administrative tasks
• Scientific achievements beyond the dissertation, proven by publications in international journals
• Experience in the acquisition of third-party funding
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook) and a statistics programme
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
