The course aims to provide basic knowledge on the physics of ultracold quantum gas and related experiments.

Topics:

-Bose-Einstein condensates

-Degenerate Fermi gases

- Gross-Pitaevskii equation

-Bogoliubov spectrum and collective excitations

-Beyond mean-field corrections: quantum fluctuation

- Tunable quantum gases and Feshbach resonances

Target group of the lecture: All PhD and Master students who work on problems in ultracold quantum gases
