Strong focus on, and development of, exisiting knowledge of English and German grammar. There will be particular emphasis placed on contrastive elements. Achievement of level C1+ in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Classroom activities will be supplemented by intense, guided self-study.
Continuous assessment, assignments and two tests (mid-term and end of semester). In order to pass the entire course all three course elements require a positive grade.
Books and materials will be outlined in class.
