Thinking velocity (from photography to painting)

 The course will focus on the observation of nature or urban landscape seen in speed.
Beginning with photo-series, followed by individual analyses of the results, the students will translate their photographs into paintings, drawings, videos or installations.

Each student will develope her/his own ideas and thoughts and will decide in what medium she/he wants to express himself.

The course will include an introduction to the theme „Velocity“ by means of art history with projection of artworks. The aim of the course is to enable the students to go through an individual artistic process: How to develope an idea into artwork, as to sensibilize and sharpen our seeing.

Rivka Rinn bittet aufgrund des großen Andranges um die Abgabe eines Portfolios des ´bisherigen künstlerischen Outputs´. Dieses ist bis zum Freitag, den 05.10.12 12:00 Uhr am ./studio3 abzugeben. Aufgrund der Qualität dieser Portfolios wird die Teilnahme entschieden und die darauffolgende Woche auf der studio3-Homepage gepostet.
