Beginners' introduction into basic methods and principles for the study of Slavic languages and literatures

The course will introduce students to the different areas of Slavonic Studies (language, linguistics, literature, culture) and provide them with basic skills, including: how to write seminar papers, how to use correct transliteration, how to find literature in the library, how to use online resources, how to quote correctly, write a proper bibliography and use the Citavi literature management programme.

Presentation by lecturer and practical tasks

Written test

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

This course should be attended in conjunction with the lecture under the same title in compulsory module 1
