The aim is the transfer of knowledge and knowledge expansion with regard to the inherent complexity of the dynamics of violence. In particular violence in gender and generational relationships. Central is the perception and understanding of contexts and contingencies for the occurrence of violence in gender and generational relationship. In this regard, we focus  our perspective on social terms and conditions and on various fundamental relationships such as the interconnection between women and child abuse.

The students will embark on a journey based on the use of different theories and media and building on the experience of the seminar leader as managing director and content management of the Tyrolean women's shelter. At the end of this Journey the students will have a better understanding of the complexity of dynamics of violence.

Integrating thought and action will accompany us when we are trying to address three key issues: why do women commence abusive relationship forms? Why is it sometimes so hard to leave them? And why do they sometimes return again to these abusive relationships?

The subject of the complexity of dynamics of violence are supported by an appropriate variety of methods such as literature edits and contributions of Students, guided talks and discussion forums, inputs of experts, as well as  the use of various media such as film / music / theater.

The seminar builds up on the experience of the seminar leader as manageress of the womens refuge.
