This seminar is a critical-reflexive one which wants to invite participants to create their own opinion, to reflect and to get facts and real stories in those very moving and strongly polarizing times. The goal is to develop the capacity to judge in a critical way based on facts and stories of fled minor refugees.

Focus will be on unaccompanied minor refugees. On one hand we will discuss the reasons of why they flee and go on this dangerous trip. On the other hand will be the focus on their realities in Tyrol: where and how do they live, what (in)possibilities do they have? Selda Sevgi, Sandra Schildhauer and Daniela Atzl made their diploma in educational sciences (Erziehungswissenschaften) and are “experts” as working in yo!vita, one of the institutions which is situated in this field. Youngsters will be also be taking part to represent and speak for themselves.
