“Dwelling is a strange activity. You dwell and dwell and you do not notice. Dwelling would have to make a sound, crack or sing softly so that it would be noticeable as an action.” (Max Goldt) Dwelling is anything but simple and anything but historically constant. But it leaves traces, as Walter Benjamin knew. The aim of this seminar is to find out a bit about itself with the help of literary and theoretical texts from different eras.
