Independent writing of a bachelor thesis

Learning how to independently conduct academic research on selected topics, in particular with a view to writing of a bachelor thesis; Presentation of the student’s own research results with the guidance of the course instructor.

Lectures, presentations and discussions

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

To be announced in the course.

1st session: Monday, 30.09.2019, 10.00-11.30 (Assigning of thesis topic, structure of the course)

2nd session: Thursday, 24.10.2019, 15.00-16.30 (first presentation and handing-in of the table of contents)

3rd session: Monday, 20.01.2020, 14.00-17.45 and Tuesday, 21.01.2020, 14.00-17.45 (presentation of the bachelor thesis; discussion and feedback)

until 28.02.2020: handing-in of the bachelor thesis

Further seminar dates will be discussed in the preliminary discussion.
