The seminar offers students the opportunity to gain experience with real-life sustainability projects in the context of public and private organizations, helping them to accelerate and implement sustainability projects. Students will acquire specific knowledge on managing sustainability projects, developing sustainability-oriented concepts and implementation roadmaps. They will also advance their knowledge on handling project partners, conducting project presentations, and writing project papers.

 

Defining, analyzing, and managing real-life sustainability projects in collaboration with local organizations and shareholders (public/private). Throughout the course, students will work in teams, will analyze their specific case, and develop recommendations on how to solve the sustainability challenge.

 

Input by the lecturers, plenary and group discussions, group work, student presentations, project presentations, seminar concept papers

 

Seminar papers and group project presentations. Group grade.

The seminar is interlinked and closely connected to the Lecture VU Sustainability within and across organizations.
