Furthermore, they can compare and evaluate various forms and problems of governance and political leadership in diverse contexts.
The Life Cycle of Political Executives
This lecture offers an overview of governments, governance and executive leadership in Western democracies. This includes a comparative assessment of both the institutions and the actors in the field. The organizational structure of the lecture follows the "life cycle" of governments – from the formation of governments via the governing process and the evaluation of governments and their leadership performance through the post-executive activities of ministers, presidents, and prime ministers.
Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course (written exam)
