The students will obtain basic knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical methods for pharmaceuticals and their active ingredients
- Chromatography
- Elementary analysis
- Identification of pharmaceutical substances using a separation scheme
- Check of identity and purity of a pharmaceutical substance using European and Austrian pharmacopoeia
- Quantitative measurements
- Identification of an alkaloid using tlc
- Separation and analysis of mixtures of pharmaceutical substances
Laboratory course including seminars
