Students will be guided through the various steps of experimental research, from formulating their research questions and hypotheses to writing a research plan.

Students will learn various methods of the psychological research, and how to formulate a research question. They will learn how to efficiently search through the scientific literature. They will then have some time to choose their research question (note that it might be possible to participate also in ungoing studies), and present a general idea about what they would like to do. It is recommended to choose a topic in the music psychology or cognitive psychology domain. They will receive constant feedback in order to shape their research idea and come up with a final research plan. The semester will end by presenting the various individual research plans.
