The course deals with theoretical topics from clinical, work- and organizational psychology. Based on a comprehensive literature research students will develop a research question and formulate appropriate hypotheses. By means of scientific methods students will conduct their own empirical study including data collection, data analyses, and discussion of the results. The research process will be written-up in a report that constitutes the bachelor thesis.
The seminar focuses on topics from work- and organisational psychology as well as topics from health psychology as an interface to work- and organisational psychology. In the field of work and organisational psychology, models of participation, organisational climate and leadership research as well as social and ecological sustainability and their effects on the behaviour of employees can be dealt with.
