Students will acquire the skills needed to develop a research project in the area of nonverbal emotion communication. The goal of this seminar is to prepare students to conduct an independent thesis project in the following semester.     

Students will conduct guided literature reviews, develop relevant research questions, and generate ideas about how to answer their questions both in terms of data acquisition and analysis.

Seminar 

Continuous assessments throughout the semester based on presentations, discussions, and written assignments (i.e., thesis proposal drafts).
