winter semester 2024/2025 | Last update: 10.06.2024 | Place course on memo listThe goal of the seminar is to provide students with a complete research process in a predefined range of topics. Based on the review of previous literature students create a conceptual framework, formulate a research question and develop their hypotheses. They conduct their own empirical study using appropriate methods including data acquisition, data analysis, interpretation and discussion of the results. Finally, the research process is documented in a bachelor thesis.
The seminar focuses on relevant topics in the context of work, stress and employee mental health in the field of work and organizational psychology. Students will undergo a supervised research process conducting their own empirical study which will be documented in a bachelor thesis.
Oral presentations by the lecturer, quantitative research, writing assignments, discussions and oral presentations by the participants, group and/or individual meetings
Examinations using continuous assessment based on written and oral contributions from the students
will be announced in the first session of the course
