Students

  • have advanced knowledge of semiconductor devices and analogue electronic circuits.
  • are able to design analogue circuits problem-related based on basic circuits and to dimension them for the respective problem specification.

Construction and operation of semiconductor devices with special consideration of power electronics. Unipolar semiconductor devices (eg Schottky diode, J-FETs, MOS-FETs , SITs); bipolar semiconductor devices (e.g., bipolar transistors, thyristors, GTOs, IGCTs); ferroelectric memories (FRAM), magnetic semiconductor memories (MRAM).

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations".

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
