Students have an advanced knowledge of and skills in biomedical technology and are able to put these in practice in the area of system development. They are familiar with complex biomechanic processes and acquire independent solutions for the development of components, devices and systems of medical technology based on the research-focused doctrine.

Overview and classification of different implants; technical basics of energy supply/energy management; methods for energy-efficient circuits; communication interfaces and how they work for implants;

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
