Obtain an institutional knowledge of criminal procedure increasing critical capacities of the students

Introductory concepts; structure and functions of the current criminal trial system; international and constitutional principles on criminal trial; subjects; acts; evidence; precautionary measures; preliminary investigations.

Oral examination

Attendance at lessons and study from the notes are strongly recommended. As reference texts we recommend Conso-Grevi, Compendium of Criminal Procedure, Cedam, latest edition and an updated code.

This lecture is part of the preparation for the examination in Italian Criminal Procedure Law according to Study Plan 2018 or Italian Criminal Procedure Law and Fundamentals of Italian Criminal Procedure Law according to Study Plan 2001.
