Listening and speaking skills at C1 level, productive and receptive listening skills with particular emphasis on understanding inference and point of view.

Productive oral skills building on Module 1 with emphasis on both descriptive and discussion-specific tasks, and with an eye on pronunciation, stress, intonation, grammar, fluency and communicative interaction on more sophisticated topics.

Audio materials: level appropriate audio and video materials etc., more sophisticated topics, e.g. culture, media, technology etc.           

Final exam consisting of both listening and speaking parts. Assessed coursework consisting of a dialogue transcriptionon an academic topic and a pair class presentation.
