This class teaches the nature, function, and value of money and the effects of monetary policy in the European Monetary Union. Furthermore, students develop didactic-methodical teaching lessons that are pupil-orientated, as well as apply various teaching and learning methods and reflect on them critically. 

Development of didactic-methodical teaching lessons that relate to the content of the class, above all theoretical and political monetary topics

• Design and implementation of teaching sequences with a school class in the areas of price stability, cash and payment transactions, and personal money management

• Application of different approaches to lesson planning and design

• Observation and reflection on one's own teaching and the teaching of others

• Seminar papers

• Presentations and simulations of teaching unit

• Active work with a school class

• Group work

• Elaboration and presentation of teaching sequences and case studies

• Active participation in the seminar with lectures, feedback and discussions

• Conducting a workshop with a school class
