Prerequisites for registration: successful completion of the compulsory module which covers the field of the
bachelor's thesis topic
Learning Outcome: Students are able to independently write a written thesis on a topic in the fields of com-pulsory modules of §8 No. 2 - 11 or elective modules of §9 no. 1 - 5 and are able to present the results in a lecture.

Compulsory Module 9: Public Business Law (8 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students have qualified knowledge of the national, European and international economic constitution, in particular the economic-related rules of the Federal Constitution, the economic core contents of primary Union law and the law of the World Trade Organisation. The students are also familiar with central areas of economic administrative law, in particular steering, trade and supervisory law. They are able to legally classify complex economic facts and to find solutions to legal problems based on them.

Compulsory Module 15: Seminar with Bachelor's Thesis (10 ECTS-Credits, 1 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of the compulsory module of the special area the topic of the Bachelor¿s Thesis has been taken from as well as the Compulsory Module Introduction to Business Law I (§9 no. 1) and Introduction to Business Law II (§9 no.2)
Learning Outcome: Students are able to present the results of a written paper they have prepared, applying theoretical and methodological tools of law to a limited question.

Third Part of Studies (§ 9, 63 ECTS-Credits, 2 semesters)
The third part of the study programme consists of
1. elective subject from elective subject groups acc. to §10 covering 20 ECTS-Credits, whereby a minimum of 10 ECTS-Credits must be selected from the same group of elective subjects
2. further elective subjects from groups of elective subjects acc. to §10 or free elective subjects acc.to §11 covering 20 ECTS-Credits and
3. the Diploma Thesis corresponding to 21 ECTS-Credits.
Linked elective subjects have to be chosen to the following extent;
1. 10 ECTS-Credits from the same group of electives acc. to §10,
2. further 10 ECTS-Credits from the same group of electives acc. to §10 as well as
3. further 10 ECTS-Credits from the groups of electives acc. to §10 or from individual
elective subjects acc. to §11.

Learning Outcome: The students have experience in the practical legal handling of legal disputes in civil law, international sale of goods, environmental law or in another discipline in which a moot court is offered. They are able to apply the knowledge acquired during their studies in specific proceedings `in court¿, draft pleadings and defend the legal arguments orally in adversarial proceedings.
