Until now, you had to go to the Examinations Office to get the confirmation. You were given a photocopy of the original application form, stamped by the Office.

From now on, you can dowload an official confirmation of thesis registration via LFU: online.

Under LFU:online > My papers there is an overview of all your theses. You can retrieve the confirmation of thesis registration as a PDF document for each thesis you are currently working on (status: in progress).
