summer semester 2018 | Last update: 17.01.2018 | Place course on memo listAcquisition of advanced R programming skills, ability to optimize objective functions (especially log-likelihoods), carry out inference (both asymptotically and bootstrap), and collect everything in an R package with examples and documentation.
Programming basics, optimization, bootstrap, object orientation (S3), R packages.
Lecture, programming labs, discussions, contributions to a source code repository.
Regular participation in labs/discussions, creation of an R package.
Basic knowledge of R and statistics/regression.
This course will be given for the first time. Hence, there are no readily prepared materials, yet, and part of the content will depend on the participants' interests. In the URL of the course, there are no materials for the R programming course, yet, but only materials for a first introduction to R.
