At the end the students know how to build hypotheses, collect quantitative data and analyse them statistically. They are able to use descriptive statistics and calculate correlation. They are also capable of reflecting on the results critically.

In the seminar the whole process of an empirical quanitative project will be presented. After discussing the development of hypotheses and some foundations in statistics, we will deal with questionnaires, online tools and statistical software (SPSS). An explicit focus lies on correlations and their conclusions. Students have to realise their own empirical project in small groups.
