Critical discussion of spiritual and ethical dimensions of Gandhi’s concept of non-violence, satyagraha.

150 years after Gandhi’s birthday his concept of non-violence is still relevant and important. This seminar will focus both on the spiritual requirements of satyagraha and on those elements that are relevant for Christian peace ethics.

Text reading and discussion.

Active participation in the class and seminar paper.
