The first Christian community in Jerusalem will be the topic from both a historical viewpoint and from the question of its theological significance within the larger narrative of Acts.

Exegetical analysis of passages from Acts 2-5 will be used to elicit historical information about the Jerusalem community and its literary function in the narrative of Acts.
