Students are able to evaluate and critically question current political science debates by

literature studies and discussions. They know how to critically assess and comment literature

in terms of content and methodology.

In the seminar, participants discuss methodological developments in political science with a special focus on causal inference and experimental methods but also how to validate and generalize research findings through, for example, replication, open science tools, or the multi-method approach.
