The course is designed to help students to understand the concepts of gender and family in the context of management and organisations. Furthermore, it should enable them to discuss scientifically and critically different themes and dimensions of gender and (management) work . Important themes are: ‘women and men in management’, ‘marriage and management’, ‘families in the world of organisations and management’. The course emphasises a critical feminist view of theories and practices of management and organisations.

Inputs given by the lecturer, case studies, work in groups, discussions.
