After attending the course, you will have a profound overview over the uses of management and cost accounting information for decision making and strategy execution. Specifically, you will be familiar with different costing systems, such as 'traditional' costing and activity-based costing; with how you can use management and cost accounting information to measure and manage customer relationships, process performance, and product costs over the full life cycle. Moreover, you will learn how budgets and financial indicators are used for planning, coordination, and control, and how behavioural issues may influence the effects and success of management accounting.
