Thus, our course aims at raising culture awareness within the given geopolitical context and, at the same time, provides participants with analytical tools destined to help tackle the great variety of social and professional situations to come.
Intercultural Management analyses emerging challenges in our world characterised by growing interaction between women and men from the most different geographical and social origins. Comprehending associated differences as to socialisation process, patterns of perception, social and professional practices, overcome various forms of ethnocentric limitations in the perspective of creating mutually enriching and long-lasting relationships becomes a key issue for the future of all of us.
readings, a culture simulation game, a manager questionnaire, group presentations and participants' personal experience will provide a large basis for intensive group discussions, in which, to a large extent, learning will prove 'experiential'.
participants' active involvement in ongoing discussion and constructive criticism, the group presentation and a final written assay on intercultural learning, process and individual self.
