The objective of this course is to give an overview of the role and importance of Strategic Human Resource Management. It will show students how to strategically align Human resources with an organization’s strategic objectives and how to become a strategic business partner.
Friday: HR today, setting the scene, HR’s new challenges Saturday: The Role of HR as strategic business partner Monday: HR Service delivery Tuesday: HR transformation, HR as change agent Wednesday:HR transformation through value creation Thursday:HR function, leading or lagging? Friday: HR Balanced scorecard Saturday: Practical case study
The format of the class will be formal and informal discussion, case studies and other practical applications. Emphasis is on interactive participation and experiential learning.
