The focus of this course is international retail markets. The intent is to discuss content and theories that will help students to understand differences in global retail markets and the process of retail internationalisation. Through lectures, case studies, and excursions students will gain an understanding of important retail topics. The application of their knowledge in class and within discussions with practitioners will provide insight into the theory and practise of retailing. As a reflection of today’s global perspective in retail operations, material used in this course will be both local and international.
