Provide participants with an understanding of the Internet and the Tlc as technologies that enhance the firms’ ability to gain and sustain competitive advantage; Equip participants with the conceptual frameworks and analytical tools that companies need to create an on line business; Equip participants with the frames to on line manage the firm’s relationships with customers; Enhance participants' ability to apply such tools through a group project aimed at the creation of an on line business plan.
The course will consist of: • Traditional lectures; • Case Studies; • Participants expositions.
COURSE ATTENDANTS: The course grade will be based on three different parts: 1. Class participation (10%) 2. Written exam (60%) – traditional multiple choice plus open question exam to be hold on November 5th, 2:30 pm 3. Development of a business plan regarding the creation of a specific high-tech / on line business (30%). The latter will be evaluated as follows: Format (20%); Fit of the business model (40%); Coherence with the things we told you in class (40%)
