The deepening of the Aramaic grammar is of great advantage for the understanding of other Semitic languages and recommended for everyone who knows and learns Semitic languages. Reading and understanding vocalized AND non-vocalized texts, as well as bilingual texts (Aramaic/Akkadian; Aramaic/Greek) opens up new perspectives when it comes to translation work.

Deepening of the basic grammatical knowledge based on selected text samples from Old Aramaic to Egyptian-Aramaic to the Dead Sea manuscripts.

On the program is also an insight into Neo-Aramaic and a meeting with an Aramaic-speaking representative from Tur-Abdin (south-eastern Turkey).
