The proseminar will explore the larnability of languages and try to address some of the following questions: which strategies do learners employ when learning languages? How good are the participants at learning new languages? How significant is the knowledge of the sound, words and structure of language in the context of language learning? How significant is prior knowledge of languages? How can autopoietic principles and self-instructed learning contribute to language competence?
