Developing linguistic (grammatical, lexical, semantic) competences (B1); analysing language learning materials; discussing (grammar and lexis) teaching methods; devising grammar and lexis exercises

Contents:

Linguistic competences (grammar, lexis, semantics); specific grammatical, morphological, syntactical, etc. phenomena will be selected and focussed on in greater detail (synonymy, antonymy, verbal aspects, imperative, connotations, etc.); differences between the German and Russian language; theoretical background knowledge; analysis and development of language learning materials

Methods:

Interactive and media-assisted teaching methods; pair and group work, learner autonomy

Assessment:

Active participation in classroom activities, homework assignments, devising grammar and lexis exercises, endterm test
