Einführung in das wissenschaftliche Arbeiten (mündliche und schriftliche Aspekte). 

Diskussion ausgewählter Themen zu Migration in Großbritannien, Amerika, Kanada, Süd Afrika, Australien und Neuseland. Dabei wird ein Augenmerk gelegt auf historische sprachliche, politische, soziale, ökonomische und kulturelle Entwicklungen in den jeweiligen Ländern, die das Ergebnis von Mirgation sind. 

Unterricht auf Workshop-Basis.

Prüfungsimmanente LV (Referat, laufende Mitarbeit, PS-Abschlussarbeit).

Wird im Unterricht besprochen. Materialien werden von den Studierenden ausgewählt und von der Kursleiterin ergänzt. 

Participants must have successfully completed all three parts of the module English I.

Before completing the entrance and orientation phase of studies (StEOP), students may enrol for courses comprising a maximum of 22 ECTS. Students who began a degree programme before winter semester 2016/17 and have not yet completed the entrance and orientation phase (StEOP) according to the existing regulations at that time may take an unlimited number of courses/ECTS (enrolment requirements according to the curriculum apply) until successful completion of the entrance and orientation phase (StEOP) by 30.11.2017. After this date, the entrance and orientation phase must be completed successfully before enrolment for further courses can ensue.

Die Proseminararbeit kann als Grundlage für die Bachelorarbeit dienen.
