Students will acquire the skills needed to interpret a speech simultaneously from English into German.
Simultaneous interpreting of simple to moderately difficult speeches from English into German. Theoretical inputs on and practical application of interpreting strategies.
Simultaneous interpretation of speeches and preparatory exercises; performance evaluation (individually and together with the teacher/group); guidance for individual learning.

Relevant Bachelor's degree. Excellent listening comprehension skills in English and profound speaking skills in German. Preferably completion of introduction into conference interpreting classes.
