Enhancement of linguistic competence in German by applying the structures studied in this course

Participle structures and clauses, relative clauses, subjunctive I and II (forms and use), indirect speech, imperative in indirect speech, infinitive clauses, subjective use of modal verbs

New structures will be acquired based on textual work and applied through different exercises. Students are expected to participate actively.

Midterm test and final exam, regularly assigned homework.

Class material as well as a list of grammar books for reference and practice will be put at the students’ disposal at the beginning of the course.

Positive completion of compulsory module 5

This course has a total of 6 hours per week and must be attended together with the courses 613.624 and 613.626

Before completing the entrance and orientation phase of studies (StEOP), students may enrol for courses comprising a maximum of 22 ECTS
