Better understanding of the economic development of former colonies.
The USA are the most important proof that former colonies may develop into wealthy economies. How and why this could happen in the USA, which preconditions and structures were necessary, will be subject of the course.
Lecture including questions, suggestions and comments from the students.
Two written tests at the middle and at the end of the semester.
Will be presented in the course.
