This course is taught in English, and materials used will be in English. The main objective is to examine and discuss methods used to improve training in performance sport. Subjects covered include: Periodization: A comparison and contrast of: Conjugate and Linear models Accommodating Resistance, Eccentric Training: Bands and Chains, Weight Releasers Power Meters: Using power output to log and control training New topics will be introduced as the instructor introduces current information acquired from conferences, scientific journals and from practitioners in sport performance. Students who wish to receive credit for this course must write an examination and make a short presentation in English.
