The students are able to

-      deal with current developments in the language classroom including intercultural issues, multilingualism or mixed ability, among others

-      devise tasks and projects aimed at tackling such developments and critically reflect on them

-      find, comprehend and discuss relevant background literature on the topics dealt with in class

In this seminar we are going to look at current developments in the language classroom and ways of dealing with such developments based on relevant research findings as well as a critical analysis of classroom material.

Positiv absolviertes Pflichtmodul 1 des Bachelorstudiums Lehramt Sekundarstufe (Allgemeinbildung) Unterrichtsfach Englisch.

Diese LV ist dem Pflichtmodul 2 („Kompetenzorientierter Fremdsprachenunterricht“) des Bachelorstudiums Lehramt Sekundarstufe (Allgemeinbildung) Unterrichtsfach Englisch zugeordnet. Dem Studienverlauf folgend wird empfohlen, PM2a vor PM2b zu absolvieren.
