Students are able to:
- identify challenges and potentials of using AI tools in the Spanish classroom
- design activities based on the use of AI tools
- present a Spanish as a foreign language lesson based on the use of AI tools and write a paper based on scientific studies and research articles.

Contents:

- Challenges and potentials of Artificial Intelligence for the Spanish as a Foreign Language Classroom
- AI tools in the Spanish as a Foreign Language classroom: applications and possible uses
- Designing learning activities by introducing AI tools

Methods:

Lecture, pair and group work, individual work, discussions, presentations by students

Prerequisites:

Successful completion of Compulsory Module 1 Bachelor's Programme Secondary School Teacher Training (General Education) Subject: Spanish.

Remarks:

This course is part of Compulsory Module 2 (“Competence Orientation in Modern Language Teaching and Learning”) Bachelor's Programme Secondary School Teacher Training (General Education) Subject: Spanish. According to the study program, attending course PM2a before PM2b is highly recommended.
