We will exercise the content and methodological approaches of the auxiliary sciences. The focus is on late medieval sources, which we will analyze and interpret according to questions of cultural history and history of mentalities. We will work with original sources in the Tiroler Landesarchiv and the ULB Tirol

Given that one of the sessions will be taught in English and the language of the sources is preponderantly Latin, basc knowledge of Latin and Englisch are strongly recommended, as well as successful pass of Basiswissen Mittelalter II.
The course will take place in the form of a one-week block from 3 to 8 April 2017 (daily 9 am-6 pm).
