On completion of this course, students have the ability to deal with mathematical topics, creatively and methodologically correct, and to contrast different literature sources. They are capable to present the acquired knowledge in a well comprehensible manner, in oral as well as in written form.

The selected mathematical topics are inspired by current research issues. They comprise differential equations and dynamical systems. This includes aspects of modelling, theoretical analysis, and simulation.

State-of-the-art methods and solutions.

The successful completion of the course requires constant attendance as well as regular oral and written contributions.
