Introduction to Mathematics 1

The students know the basic tools of higher mathematics.
Within the lecture the selected topics of higher mathematics will be presented, e.g. functions, vector analysis, matrices, differential and integral calculus.
The learning matter is recited theoretically and practically by means of exercise examples. For self-dependent practice/self-control examples with solutions are provided. A tutorial (2 h per week each) give support for the preparation of the learning matter.
