The students know the basic tools of higher mathematics.

 

Building up on the VO Einführung in die Mathematik 1, basic tools of higher mathematics will be taught with a special focus on geoscientific examples.

The learning matter is recited theoretically and practically by means of exercise examples. For self-dependent practice/self-control examples with solutions are provided. Two tutorials (2 h per week each) give support for the preparation of the learning matter.
