Die Studierenden haben Kenntnisse in speziellen Themenbereichen der Mikrobiologie und angrenzenden Wissensgebieten.

-microbiology to microbes, different aspects, databases, basic information

-setting up your virtual lab on your own computer

-structure your molecular and accompanying metadata for analyses

-perform metaanalyses of molecular data from your own data including previously published data

-co-occurrence networks and data analyses

-variation partitioning for identification of most important environmental, spatial, temporal variables

-setting up the assembly of microbial draft genomes and their downstream analyses

-automatic phylogenetic and functional analysis of metagenomes

-Identification of variables explaining the observed datasets;

-Interpretation of experimental observations;

-Identification of common types of data for analyses;

-Use various approaches intended to adjust data consistency: error-checking, missing data, outliers,

-Understand the role of data transformations: power, log, arcsine, relative;

Obwohl die LV in einem Rechnerraum stattfindet, wird empfohlen einen eigenen Laptop mitzubringen, da die benötigte Software auch darauf, zur weiteren Verwendung, installiert werden kann.
