The students are qualified to work with theories, research methods and results of research in the field of work and organizational psychology. Furthermore, they are able to conduct their own study and analyse the data. Students are able to present results and to discuss these critically concerning their impact for practical use and healthy work.

Workload and its negative influence on employees` health are an ongoing topic of research in the field of organizational psychology. The course will focus on relevant topics, concepts and studies in the context of working conditions and health promotion at the workplace. In addition to the seminar, the course will include a research process. Students will conduct their own study focused on working conditions and health and will present the preliminary results of the study.

Oral presentations by the instructor and the students, discussions, empirical study, data analysis and presentation of results.

Examinations using continuous assessment based on written and/or oral contributions from the students

will be announced in the frist lesson
